But for many, figuring out the plot of their own writing journey continues to elude them. What’s a writer to do when they have an idea of where they want to end up, but can’t seem to muster up the courage and the gumption to press ahead?

Our writing journey is, after all, a story with a beginning (filled with excitement and wonder), a middle (in which there’s a lot of questioning “What I was thinking?”), and an end goal (in which we hope to avoid soul-crushing defeat).
