Welcoming in a month of reflection

I’m having a hard time believing that tomorrow is the beginning of December. At the same time, I’m also thrilled. Because this is the month I decided to scale back a bit so that I can spend a little more time focusing on one of my writing projects that’s been languishing in the weeds. It’s also a month that I hope to use to prepare for the upcoming year.

And then, of course, there’s Christmas to look forward to!

Christmas for me has always been a time of reflection. And with that in mind, I’ll be posting some of the reflections I’ve written over the years here and on my social media posts this month. One of the reasons I’ve chosen to share them is because they’re already prepared, which allows me more time to focus on my book. It’s my hope that they’ll encourage you during this Advent season as well.

For those of you who are wrapping up NaNoWriMo today, congratulations! Whether you wrote 5 words or 50,000 words, you wrote! And it has been a genuine joy reading all your posts this past month as you’ve pressed ahead toward your individual goals.

Be sure to enjoy an extra cup of cocoa, tea, or coffee to celebrate your accomplishment!

Well done!
